My 1st roommate in NY, CLOVER, with yours truly...
...at the 4th of July party 1999 in Samokov, Bulgaria. What a riotous time it was. Right by the river which flowed down from the mountains, a bunch of Peace Corps volunteers, food, booze..and the rest is history. Well, Clover and I had a wonderful time. She's my special friend. She told me once that her cat's breath smells like cat food. |

My friend OVUNCH from Istanbul...
I met OVUNCH on the streets of Istanbul very late one Saturday nite when he offered me directions to a Jazz Club there. Ever since then we've been fast friends. OVUNCH is a student and model, and he's working right now in the movie-making industry. You'll see his name someday in the credits of some movie after the words "directed by". OVUNCH came all the way to visit me in the Central Balkans of Bulgaria when I was teaching there. THAT's dedication. Thanks, OVUNCH. |
